Start with what they expected
What did the proposal promise, and what happened afterward? Listening to that difference gives the conversation a useful starting point.
Bring your experience. Make a difference.
Bring your Oregon community knowledge to a more useful homeowner conversation.
Some of the best sales conversations start with a simple question: “What happened?” At Solar Exit Oregon, we want people who can ask that question, understand the answer and help a homeowner take the next step.
Tell us about yourselfIf you have sold solar, you know there is more to the job than a pitch. You have explained unfamiliar paperwork, answered difficult questions and earned someone's trust at their kitchen table. Those skills still matter when the conversation changes from buying solar to figuring out what went wrong.
Maybe you have dealt with delayed commissions, changing company priorities or one too many trips away from home. Maybe you simply want your next chapter in sales to feel more useful. Whatever brought you here, we would like to hear your story.
Solar Exit Oregon advocates for homeowners whose solar experience has not matched what they were promised. We help people facing confusing agreements, payment concerns or unresolved problems gather information for review and understand the next step. Your role starts with listening and explaining that process clearly.
What did the proposal promise, and what happened afterward? Listening to that difference gives the conversation a useful starting point.
You may have helped customers compare unfamiliar options or understand a complicated purchase. Those skills can help someone feel more comfortable asking questions.
You can introduce yourself on your own or tell us about a team. Start with your experience and why helping homeowners interests you.
Oregon's Solar + Storage Rebate Program uses a reservation process. A rebate included in a sales proposal is different from a confirmed reservation, which can leave homeowners with questions about what they were promised.
A homeowner may have signed a proposal that included a rebate in the projected cost. Ask whether they have a reservation record, which program was named and what the agreement said would happen if funding was unavailable. Those are questions for review, not a basis for promising that the state will cover the difference.
Solar Exit Oregon welcomes people who can handle that conversation with care. Help the customer separate written commitments from assumptions and assemble the relevant correspondence. Your role is to explain our process and make the next step understandable, without representing the rebate program.
Your relationships may be in Portland, the Willamette Valley, Bend, Medford or communities along the coast. Tell us where you would represent the team and how you built your customer experience. We want people who can explain the review process in plain language.

We are interested in people who communicate clearly, follow up thoughtfully and care about doing right by the customer. Solar experience is useful, but it is not the only background worth bringing. If you are new to this kind of work, tell us why it interests you.
This starts with an introduction, not a lengthy application. Share a few details below and someone from our team will reach out to learn more about you and answer your questions.
We expect honest representation, respect for the homeowner’s decision and clear explanations of our service. Representatives do not provide legal advice or promise a cancellation, refund or other outcome.
